11 Protesters Arrested at UMN “Halimy Hall”

Protesters with UMNSDS gathered at the University of Minnesota yesterday in solidarity with Palestinians. The protesters called on the university to diverse from companies that support Israel.

The group took over Morrill Hall (located on Northrup Mall), symbolically naming it Halimy Hall— an homage to 19-year-old Palestinian content creator Medo Halimy who died in an Israeli air strike in August.

11 protestors were arrested following the demonstration.
