Federal Judge Blocked Trumps’ Executive Order That Sought to End Gov. Support for DEI Programs

Plaintiffs in the case include the Mayor of Baltimore and the Baltimore City Council, the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, the American Association of University Professors and the Restaurant Opportunities Centers United, representing restaurant workers nationwide.

In the complaint the plaintiffs wrote that Trump uses executive orders to suppress views that don’t align with his beliefs. “But the President simply does not wield that power,” they insisted. “And contrary to his suggestions otherwise, his power is not limitless.”
