Hawaii’s Governor, Josh Green, Announces End of Ban on Short Term Rentals in West Maui

Governor Josh Green of Hawaii has announced he will no longer be pursuing a moratorium on short-term rentals in West Maui. Such legislation has been considered since last year’s devastating fires.

Community members and activists are urging lawmakers to allow counties the authority to set their own short-term rental restrictions.
