Emergency Press Conference Addressing Charges Dropped for Ryan Londregan

On July 31st, 2023, Minnesota State Trooper, Ryan Londregan, shot and killed Ricky Cobb II after failing to communicate to Ricky if he was under arrest or not, and what for. Londregan, and two other MN State Trooper's failure to communicate with Ricky, escalated the scenario which resulted in Londregan firing his gun twice and killing Ricky Cobb II.

After charges were brought to Londregan for murder, they were soon dropped by Hennepin County DA Mary Moriarty citing new information from Londregan's defense team. After the Minnesota Police Association paid for Londregan's defense, they also bussed in a little over one hundred people to harass Ricky's family as they entered court for Day 1. Major media outlets quoted the Minnesota Police Association's General Counsel, Imran Ali, and ran with narratives painting Londregan as the victim while also fearing for his life. However, when watching the bodycam footage, one can ascertain from the poorly exercised routine traffic stop, it was Ricky Cobb II who is the victim and also feared for his life.
