Charles Kushner is Jared Kushner’s father. Jared Kushner is Ivanka Trump’s husband. Ivanka Trump is the president-elect’s daughter.

In 2004, Charles Kushner pleaded guilty to 16 counts of filing false tax returns, one count of witness retaliation (after hiring a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law as retaliation for the brother-in-law’s cooperation with federal investigators), and one count of making false statements to the Federal Election Commission. Kushner became a convicted felon and served 14 months in prison.

In 2020 Trump granted Kushner a full pardon.
