Trump Orders Pause of U.S. Military Aid for Ukraine After Oval Office Meeting

In an unsurprising move, President Trump has officially paused U.S. military aid to Ukraine after his heated Oval Office conversation with President Zelenskyy last week.

After their argument, Zelenskyy refused to sign Trump’s proposed minerals deal, which would have granted the U.S. additional access to Ukraine’s natural resources.

By pausing military aid to the war-torn country, Trump is forcing Zelensky’s hand regarding both Russia talks and the unsigned minerals deal.
