Former Mpls Police Officer J. Alexander Kueng Sentenced for his Role in the Murder or George Floyd

Earlier today, former Minneapolis police officer J. Alexander Kueng was sentenced to 3.5 years for aiding and abetting manslaughter in the killing of George Floyd.

The sentence will run concurrently with the 3 years he is serving now for the federal charge of violating Floyd’s civil rights.

By pleading guilty, Kueng avoided being charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder.
