Chicago Airport Terminal Blocked by Pro-Palestine Protesters

CHICAGO— Pro-Palestine supporters blocked traffic out of Terminal 1 this morning at the Chicago O’Hare Airport.

Outbound lanes were shut down with protestors lining up on the Kennedy Expressway. Organizers stated that the protest was part of a worldwide “economic blockade to free Palestine.”

A similar protest, and part of the economic blockade, also took place this morning on a California Bay Area freeway.

In Chicago, traffic resumed its normal flow after about two hours and, according to reports, several dozen protesters were taken into custody.
