Everything You Need to Know About House Ethics Committee’s Report on Matt Gaetz

Christmas came early with the House Ethics Committee releasing the findings of its investigation into former House member, and current Cameo creator, Matt Gaetz.

The report’s investigators state, “the Committee determined there is substantial evidence that Representative Gaetz violated House Rules and other standards of conduct prohibiting pr0stitution, statutory r@pe, illicit drug use, impermissible gifts, special favors or privileges, and obstruction of Congress.”

Gaetz retired from Congress before the report was released, likely trying to block the release of the report. When that didn’t work, Gaetz filed a lawsuit trying to stop its publication.

It is rare that the House Ethics Committee would release a report about a former member of Congress, yet in this case, they believe the evidence is compelling enough to make public.
