Georgia Congressman Reposts Ole Miss Student Racially Harassing Black Woman

Georgia Congressman Mike Collins (Rep.) reposted a video from a Pro-Palestine protest at Ole Miss (the University of Mississippi) showing counter-protesters mocking a Black woman with monkey noises and racially-motivated heckling.

Rep. Collins wasn’t the only politician who came out in support of the counter-protesters’ actions. Mississippi governor, Tate Reeves, tweeted the same video with a caption boasting, “The ‘protests’ at Ole Miss today. Watch with sound. Warms my heart. I love Mississippi!” It is worth noting that Governor Reeves also recently declared April ‘Confederate Heritage Month’ in Mississippi.
