New Orleans Senior Breaks Record with $9 Million in Scholarship Offers

New Orleans high school senior Dennis Maliq Barnes has broken a Guinness World Record earning over $9 million in scholarships from 180 colleges.

Barnes attends the International High School of New Orleans and is also earning college credits attending courses at Southern University of New Orleans.

Barnes’ GPA is an impressive 4.98. He’s also the Executive President of the National Honor Society and, among other accomplishments, he’s fluent in Spanish.

Barnes has not yet made a formal announcement regarding where he will be attending college. But he is expected to do so soon.
